Bourne Mills

Bourne Mill, built in 1881 was considered one of the largest cotton manufacturing mills in the world, ceasing operation in 1961. The once thriving cotton mill has been transformed into 166 upscale rental units ranging in size from 660 to 1,340 square feet. Massive site work was conducted for remediation of hazardous materials, a new sewer pump station was installed in coordination with the complete infrastructure improvements. The complex includes one-, two-, and three bedroom apartment units which come in a variety of styles: lofts, townhouses and flats. All units have central air and gas heat. Apartment amenities include open floor plans, high ceilings with exposed brick work, expansive double-pane windows, top of the line kitchen cabinetry, black appliances and ceramic tile. It also boasts a pet park, storage cubes, laundry center and handsomely landscaped grounds and courtyards.
