Dexter Southfield's Clay Center Vertical Expansion followed the completion of a new dining and servery, by Dellbrook|JKS, on the first floor. The new level, is a 9,168 SF addition, adding classrooms, offices, and collaborative spaces to the building. A 2nd floor addition required the transfer of all MEP equipment to the revised rooftop and the renovation of multiple existing corridors. The scope of work also included concrete, structural steel, misc. metals, finish carpentry, waterproofing, terracotta siding, roofing, D/F/H, storefront, gypboard, ACT, flooring, painting, fire protection, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical.
