Leland House

Our Leland House project for 2Life Communities included the wood-framed construction of a new 73,000 GSF building, with slab-on-grade concrete foundation. The existing Leland House was demolished following abatement and replaced by this 3-story, Passive House structure, containing 68 units of affordable housing. Facade materials consist of slate siding, fiber cement panels, fiber cement lap siding, and fiber cement shingle siding. Windows are Amberline triple glazed with extensive glazing and millwork at amenity areas. Construction also included landscaping, hardscaping, and site furnishings. The redesigned Leland House, like all other 2Life projects, meets the highest standards of adaptability, and sustainability, with one example being the installation of a 150kw photovoltaic system.
