The Tufts Squash Court Facility is a single-story addition to the Cousens/Tisch/Gantcher Athletics Center. The new 13,500 SF squash facility included 8 international size squash courts, including a Show Court with 3 glass side walls. Additional program areas feature spectator viewing, coaching areas, and a Varsity Squash Team meeting room. This facility, which was a design/build collaboration with ARC/Architectural Resources Cambridge, was constructed with a structural steel frame with open web trusses and insulated metal panel & masonry exterior. The HVAC and electrical systems were integrated with the University’s current systems in the existing Athletics Center.
