The Elmwood entails the new, Passive House construction of two, 3-story residential structures, with on-site parking, in Shrewsbury. Both buildings will be wood-framed with slab-on-grade foundations designed to hold 93 mixed-income apartments combined. Building 1 spans 70,221 sqft., includes 33 residential units, and houses all the complex’s amenities. Building 2, which measures 40,719 sqft., holds the remaining 60 apartments.

Brimming with resident leisure spaces, The Elmwood will also feature a playground, tot lot, dog park, fire pits and congregation areas. Dellbrook|JKS and its partners will perform rock removal, retaining wall installation, soil replacement and utility tie-ins to prepare the 9-acre site for its new 111,000 sqft. inhabitant.
