The historic Wellesley Tower Court project consisted of renovating the existing 108,089 SF, 214-unit dorm building. Work included finish upgrades in the dorms, common areas, shared bathrooms, and kitchenettes. Lobbies, lounge rooms, and the great hall also received new finishes and lighting upgrades, as well as ADA compliance to select areas. The interior sides of exterior walls were furred out with new insulation throughout the building. Exterior work featured roofing repair (including slate, membrane, etc.), masonry repointing and repair, electrical & lighting upgrades, potable and sanitary plumbing upgrades. HVAC was also upgraded throughout the entire building, including radiators, air-handlers, and controls in addition to painting and general repairs to student rooms. Dellbrook|JKS will complete the project over two phases during the summer of 2023 and 2024, when the majority of students are off campus.
