The Weinberg House is a LEED Silver Certifiable, six-story building with 61-units of affordable, elderly, rental housing with common areas and amenity spaces. The new structure consists of 1 level of steel podium and 5 stories of wood above. Construction included existing building take-down and significant site work. The Weinberg House has 3,500 SF of ground-floor retail, and seven residences in the building are reserved for formerly homeless seniors. Five residences are reserved for seniors with lifelong disabilities. Construction of the Weinberg House required significant ledge removal. Once encountered on the southern side of the site, the ledge was removed by hammering.

Construction of a second-floor pedestrian bridge connects the Weinberg House to 2Life Communities, existing 700-unit campus and amenities include a specialized fitness center, computer center, multi-lingual library, auditorium, an art room, meeting rooms, and lounge areas.
