Historic renovation and reconstruction projects in New England require careful attention and planning — they represent critical public assets that define the character of a community. The preservation of historic features while bringing a structure up to modern standards requires significant expertise and experience, especially in the case of historic mill conversion. Our proven track record of historic renovation & adaptive reuse projects in Boston, Southeastern Massachusetts including Cape Cod and the Islands is testament to our unparalleled expertise in these reconstruction projects.
“Dellbrook | JKS successfully completed the $18M renovation of the abandoned Worcester Loomworks (Crompton and Knowles) manufacturing warehouse into 94 units of affordable housing from July 2014 to August 2015 for TCB. Under Jerrys leadership as general project superintendent, the project was a great success despite the discovery of significant unforeseen conditions. Jerry Emond, Ed Sople, and other project management staff were always a pleasure to deal with on a daily basis and continually found solutions and “go the extra mile” to complete on time and within budget. Other key staff at TCB such as Mike Lozano (Sr. Development PM) and Zan Bross (Director of Construction Northeast Region) are similarly happy with the performance of the Dellbrook | JKS team. “
