Private Residence Chestnut Hill
When a repeat client asked us to renovate their Chestnut Hill home we were happy to once again provide services that include a new master suite, rear terrace with new pool and poolhouse as well as expand a spectacular gymnasium on their property. The gym expansion was of an existing masonry and steel building, but the goal was to keep the contextual feeling of a barn and a need to accommodate professional level sporting equipment in the space. We kept all of the existing structure and expanded in a similarly additive way. The result was over 8,000SF of recreation space that the entire family could enjoy. We also created outdoor living spaces that take advantage of various aspects of the site. We constructed a rear terrace featuring a 10’ fireplace with antique surround and marble and soapstone accents, an outdoor kitchen with stone sink, built in Viking grill and custom brick pizza as well an incredible translucent glass roofed walkway.
Inside their home we added an incredible master suite featuring custom exposed beamed ceilings, skylights and flooring. The master bathroom was expanded to include custom stone counters and stone bathtub surrounds and an eye catching herringbone patterned wood floor with radiant heat. Adjoining the master suite is the custom closet and dressing room, as well as an addition of a structural glass conservatory and home office.
