Two new residential apartment buildings are being constructed on 14 acres of site improved area. Each building is 5 stories and both will have flat roofs. The first building will have 224 units and the second building will have 76 units. Fifteen percent of the completed units will be designated as affordable rental units. The first level for either building will be a concrete slab on grade, and levels 2 to levels 5 for each will be of wood framed construction. The exterior facade is very conventional suburban fiber cement siding in clapboard and panel form. Private unit patios are provided for 1BR, 2BR and 3BR units. The project will have 32 studio units, 102 each 1BR units, 136 each 2BR units and 30 each 3BR units. With respect to unit bathrooms, there will be 171 shower types, and 295 each tub types.
Dellbrook | JKS provided a pad ready site for the garages only. The site improved area consist of 98,000 SF of building footprint; 210,000 SF of asphalt paving; 275,000 SF of landscape; 35,000 SF of walks; 7,500 SF of pool patio; 2,000 SF of playground area; and 56,000 SF of drainage basins. The project required 3 to 7 feet of structural fill at the building footprint and 2-5′ of fill for the parking area. The green areas along the parking limits, and adjacent to the basin areas also required substantial fill.
