Dellbrook|JKS Constructs New Building at Gillette Stadium
FOXBOROUGH — There is an old axiom If you want to build for long-term success, it is important to start with a strong foundation. And no team has more experience pouring foundations at Gillette Stadium than Dellbrook|JKS. Last fall, Dellbrook|JKS teamed up with project partners Architect and Spagnolo Gisness & Associates to break ground on a new 103,000 square foot expansion to the football facilities and administrative offices at Gillette Stadium. This spring, the construction teams celebrated the topping-off ceremonies of the four-story structure, which is located next to Gillette Stadium between the Ticketmaster Ramp and parking lot #5.
“We’re excited to work with the Kraft Group again to provide the additional space needed to accommodate their growing companies,” said Jacob Pray, Senior Project Manager at Dellbrook|JKS. “The new building will include a number of amenities that will benefit the players and staff for many years to come. It is always a pleasure to work with the Krafts. They make you feel like part of the team. It was great to have so much support at our topping-off ceremony. I am proud of all the progress our teams have made.”
The new building replaces a fabric structure that formerly housed training facilities for the New England Patriots and administrative offices for the New England Revolution. The new structure is a four-story, steel-framed, metal deck building. These four floors will support incremental space requirements for the Kraft Group and affiliated entities including the New England Patriots and International Forest Products.
“We are proud to partner with Dellbrook|JKS once again,” said Jim Nolan, the Chief Operating Officer of Gillette Stadium. “There is no construction company with more experience working with us here at Gillette Stadium over the past decade than Dellbrook|JKS and no one we trusted more with this project. We look forward to the completion of this project and the opportunities the expansion will provide us for years to come.”
Dellbrook|JKS is one of the largest general contractors in Massachusetts and a veteran of many construction projects at Gillette Stadium and Patriot Place, including the additions of the Cross Insurance Pavilion and the Optum Field Lounge, as well as the Jet Blue Landing and multiple renovations and administrative office expansions. The new building is an external structure but will be connected to the stadium on the first two levels.
